Common questions

Which areas does Route to Open Water cover?

Three areas of South Florida: Palm Beach County from Jupiter Inlet, Broward County, and Miami & Miami Beach down to Coconut Grove. For an address outside those areas, the app tells you it isn't covered yet.

Can I navigate with Route to Open Water or Boat Fit?

No. Both are estimates built from NOAA charts, the federal bridge inventory, tide predictions and listing details, which can be out of date or incomplete. They are not for navigation. Before you buy or head out, check clearances, depths and tides with official charts, tide tables and a licensed marine professional.

How does Boat Fit work?

Add your boat's length, beam, draft and air draft under Profile > My Vessels. On a listing, open Boat Fit to compare your boat with the dock and route details the seller entered. When a detail is missing, Boat Fit marks it as unknown instead of guessing.

Do I need an account?

No. You can browse listings and run route checks without one. You need an account to save homes, add boats, contact sellers and agents, subscribe or list a property.

How do I list a property?

Sign up as a seller or an agent, then tap New Listing on the Home tab. Before a listing goes live, you confirm that you may market the property, that the details are accurate and that the listing follows fair housing laws. Agent listings show the agent's name and brokerage.

Is HarborNest a real estate broker?

No. HarborNest is a technology platform. We don't represent buyers or sellers, and we don't verify listings. Messages sent through HarborNest are not offers or contracts.
